Isa 45:11 - Various Translations
Might I suggest to take time to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth as you meditate upon these scriptures.
English Standard Version (ESV)
Thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and the one who formed him:
Ask me of things to come; will you command me concerning my children and the work of my hands?
Contemporary English Version (CEV)
I am the LORD, the Creator, the holy God of Israel. Do you dare question me about my own nation or about what I have done?
New International Reader's Version (NIRV)
The Lord is the Holy One of Israel. He made them. He says to them, Are you asking me about what will happen to my children? Are you telling me what I should do with what my hands have made?

This is what the LORD says the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker:
Concerning things to come, do you question me about my children, or give me orders about the work of my hands?

Top-level comments on this article: (1 total)I find this article very interesting. Having the same scripture verse interpetedbasically in two polar directions. Hmmmm, which is the real and true way that the Father intended for us to percieve? Come Holy Spirit of Truth and guide us into all truth concerning the way we should really see this verse.
